We then sent the stems to Dan to be mixed. “‘Misunderstood’ was written and recorded in Rye’s bedroom, the song was so fun to write, it all just seemed to fall into place over two days. Speaking about the creation of the track, frontman Connor shares: “We were set to go and record a couple of new songs with Dan Weller at the start of April. This meant we had to improvise and adapt to how we could get some new material out. However, due to the lockdown, the recording session was obviously cancelled. Alex Pearson
