Speaking about the track, the band said: “‘Know You’ reveals a side to our music that hasn’t been shown before and we believe it’s another big step up in our songwriting. “It’s dark, desperate and explores a fanciful desire for romance.”
As well as the release, The Manatees will be playing a couple of socially distanced shows (as things stand). The band are still fine-tuning their sound, but ‘Know You’ will do nothing but increase the excitement around this young indie outfit as they get bigger and better with every release. ‘Know You’ was released last month and follows on from ‘Have It All,’ which featured on Sky Sports Soccer AM, Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6Music show, and ‘Guilty Pleasure’ and ‘Tongue Tied’ so far this year. The Manatees are carving out their own brand of contemporary rock music. Alex Pearson
